The rent is cheap but in bad areas, not good for senior housing. Forget about working. They don't hire older people here.
Even housing is difficult to find if you're over 60 and the people you go to for help are not very friendly or hospitalable. Jobs are hard to find for people like me who have tremors, they take one look at me and say they're through hiring. I see people every day from other countries get the job I tried to apply for.
