Dennis is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States, located near the center of Cape Cod. The population was 14,207 at the 2010 census.The town encompasses five distinct villages, each of which has its own post office. These constituent villages are Dennis (including North Dennis), Dennis Port, East Dennis, South Dennis, and West Dennis. The mission of the Dennis Council on Aging is to enhance the quality of life for the elders of the town by providing programs and services to fufill the health, educational, social, recreational, outreach, and transportation needs in a safe, friendly, and comfortable environment.
