Hearing loss is a very common medical condition. What’s also common is that it unfortunately often goes untreated due to not recognizing the signs, not taking it seriously, and not wanting to admit it’s something you might now be facing.
I had hip replacement surgery at Faulkner Brigham in 2021. I have nothing but positive reviews for every person I encountered - from the admitting nurse who put me at ease, the anesthesiologist who spent at least 15 minutes with me discussing my options, my surgeon who did a superb job with zero complications, the nurses who took care of me after surgery and made sure that I was set up with a visiting nurse before I left and the PT and OTs who patiently guided me through how to to move- climb stairs, get in/out of a car, best way to get in/ out of bed etc.
