We have lived in Concord, MA for 20+ years.
3 of our 4 children were born at Emerson hospital, unfortunately all of them BEFORE the addition of the maternity facilities which represent an upgrade. We also have a pediatrician who is located on the hospital campus. Overall, Emerson is a good community hospital that offers a broad array of medical care in a well kept facility. They also seem to know when they hit their limits, as happened in the immediate aftermath of the birth of our fourth child.
If you are looking for the highest quality of care or for highly specialized care, I think there may be better potential options in the Boston area.
