We have a wonderful senior center here which operates Monday-Friday from 9-5 and is opened a few evenings per week. There are many classes including tai-chi, aerobics, swing dancing, line dancing, etc. Also we have group games and transportation provided to restaurants, national and state parks, bungee jumping, etc.
We have reduced public transportation fees and our local grocery chains have 10% off certain days in the month.
Tualatin is a suburban area with lots of greenery, safe places to walk, libraries, stores, and hospitals. It is close to Portland when you want to go Urban.
I live in a "Senior Community" manufactured home park.
There are 2 Nursing homes right next door
The Tualatin/Sherwood area seems to be a retirement community
Clean neighborhood, sense of community, safe travels
